Information you provide

Technical and security information: our service providers process connection information and account and security events, such as sign-ins, password resets, request timestamps and errors, to operate and protect the service.

How we use information

We use these details to create and secure accounts, keep vehicle and request records, match service requests with relevant providers, show quotations and bookings, review provider applications, respond to support requests and investigate misuse or technical problems.

Your locality is entered by you; the current app does not request GPS access. The current app does not collect payment-card details or process payments.

Who receives information

Supabase provides account authentication and database services. Apple handles Sign in with Apple when you choose it. Our email service handles messages you send to support. Authorised DriveTend administrators access information needed for account support and marketplace administration.

Relevant service-request and vehicle details are available to eligible independent providers for quotations and bookings. Customers can see the provider and quotation information needed to consider an offer. Information may also be disclosed when required by law.

Cloud services may process data outside Mauritius. This policy does not mean that all information stays in Mauritius.

Keeping information secure

The app communicates with its backend over HTTPS and stores sign-in session credentials in the device's secure storage. Account permissions control access to stored records. Contact support if you believe someone else has accessed your account.

Retention and deletion

Account and marketplace information is kept to provide the service and manage the associated requests and bookings. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data through our account-deletion page.

We may need to confirm account ownership before carrying out a request. Where information must be kept to meet a legal obligation or resolve an existing dispute, we will explain the relevant information and reason when handling your request.

Your choices

Contact the privacy address to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, or to raise a concern about its use. You can also ask about restricting or objecting to processing where applicable. You may contact the Mauritius Data Protection Office.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if these practices change and revise the date above. Material changes will also be explained in the app where appropriate.
